Pair a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard that is not discoverable
Separate keyboard power, Easy-Switch channel state, Bluetooth discovery, pairing code, and receiver-only issues.
Direct answer
The shortest reliable path.
Power or charge the keyboard, choose an Easy-Switch channel, and hold that channel key for about three seconds until its LED blinks rapidly. Then open the computer or phone Bluetooth settings, select the keyboard, type the displayed pairing code on the Logitech keyboard, and press Enter. A short Easy-Switch press changes devices; it does not put the channel into pairing mode.

Scope before steps.
Logitech Bluetooth keyboards with Easy-Switch device channels and the manufacturer’s documented pairing flow.
Keyboards without Bluetooth, model-specific reset shortcuts, damaged keys, unsupported operating systems, or enterprise Bluetooth policy.
Procedure
Do this in order.
- 01
Prove keyboard power
Turn the keyboard on and charge it with the supplied cable or install fresh supported batteries as appropriate.
- 02
Enter pairing mode on one channel
Press and hold the intended Easy-Switch key for about three seconds until its LED blinks rapidly.
- 03
Finish from the host Bluetooth menu
Open Bluetooth settings on the computer, tablet, or phone and select the Logitech keyboard while the channel still blinks rapidly.
- 04
Complete the displayed code
If the host shows a numeric code, type it on the Logitech keyboard and press Enter, then confirm the LED becomes steady.
- 05
Use a clean alternate channel for isolation
If the expected channel will not enter rapid-blink mode, try another Easy-Switch channel or another supported host without erasing all pairings.
Diagnostic matrix
Read the result, not the guess.
| What you see | Check next | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| The Easy-Switch LED never lights | Restore keyboard power before changing host Bluetooth settings. | There is no confirmed transmitting endpoint. |
| The LED blinks slowly rather than rapidly | Hold the Easy-Switch key for the full pairing interval. | The channel is not yet in discoverable pairing mode. |
| The host displays a pairing code | Type it on the Logitech keyboard itself and press Enter. | Bluetooth discovery succeeded and authentication is the current step. |
| Another host pairs on the same channel | Repair Bluetooth state and policy on the original host. | The keyboard radio and pairing control work. |
Stop conditions
Know when not to keep changing things.
- Stop using a keyboard with leaking batteries, swelling, liquid damage, or unusual heat.
- Do not apply undocumented reset key combinations from another Logitech model.
- Contact Logitech when no channel enters discovery or pairs with more than one supported host after power is verified.
