Fix DJI Mini 4 Pro Return to Home when it will not come back
Separate a missing Home Point, a close-range immediate landing, a cancelled low-battery RTH, and a signal-lost action that is not set to RTH.

RTH only returns to the last recorded Home Point when positioning is good. After takeoff, hover until DJI Fly reports Home Point updated, set RTH altitude above surrounding obstacles, and set signal-lost action to RTH if you want Failsafe RTH. Failsafe RTH needs that setting, a recorded Home Point, and a normally functioning compass, and it starts after more than six seconds of lost remote-controller signal. If RTH begins less than 5 m from Home Point, Mini 4 Pro lands immediately. Do not cancel a low-battery RTH unless you can land immediately; a later forced descent cannot be cancelled.

Confirm Home Point and compass before the next launch
On DJI Fly Safety, confirm Compass is normal and that a Home Point exists. After takeoff, hover until the app reports Home Point updated before leaving the pad.

Set RTH altitude and signal-lost action
In DJI Fly Settings > Safety, set RTH altitude higher than obstacles around the flying area and set the aircraft action when the remote-controller signal is lost to RTH, land, or hover. Choose RTH if you want Failsafe RTH.

Know the three Mini 4 Pro triggers
Trigger Smart RTH from DJI Fly or by pressing and holding the remote RTH button until it beeps. Treat a low-battery countdown as a return, not an optional warning. Expect Failsafe RTH only after more than six seconds of lost remote-controller signal when the preconditions above are met.

Read a close-range or low-battery result correctly
If RTH starts less than 5 m from Home Point, expect an immediate landing. If you cancel low-battery RTH, land at once; when the battery can only support descent, Mini 4 Pro auto-lands and that landing cannot be cancelled.

Exit only when you can fly the aircraft yourself
If the control link is good, tap the DJI Fly exit control or press the RTH button to stop RTH and take over. Continue only when you can control the aircraft and complete the landing yourself.
