DJI Mic 2 can connect to cameras, smartphones, and computers, but the signal path changes. For a camera, connect the receiver OUT port to the camera microphone input with a 3.5 mm TRS cable and set gain for that camera. For a phone, use the Mic 2 USB-C or Lightning adapter for digital audio, or pair a transmitter by Bluetooth when the phone and recording app support it. DJI states that original DJI Mic transmitters, receivers, and phone adapters are not interchangeable with DJI Mic 2 components.

Select the listed camera under Recommended Camera Settings or choose None and adjust receiver and camera levels by monitoring.

Pair the transmitter, then make a recording or livestream test in the exact phone app.

Record speech at expected loudness, play the file back, and check both main and safety tracks when enabled.
